CASE STUDY
ViPR Japan Master Trainer Team
The VMT, ViPR Master Trainer Team has expertise with exercise and nutrition on top of experience with fitness club management and human resource development. They are working hard to spread the benefits of “Loaded Movement Training” and ViPR throughout Japan.
Providing proper education in Japan, with our “No Training, No ViPR” concept
While Loaded Movement Training and ViPR is widely known in many markets, for the Japan market, in order to ensure proper knowledge and usage of ViPR we have implemented the requirement that in order to purchase ViPR one must first take ViPR training. Many of the training participants are personal trainers, judo practitioners and physiotherapists. In addition, we also provide training to educational institutions that are educating and developing future fitness professionals, such as technical schools and universities.

Q&A with Jane Waller
How did you first become interested in the Japan market?
In the late 1990's we had various approaches from the Japanese market, mainly around the supply of products - mainly music and choreography videos. We learned the value that the Japanese market places on loyalty, honesty and respect... which are synonymous with our own.
What is difficult to do business in Japan, that people might not know is difficult?
The two biggest challenges are English language translation and the meticulous attention to detail required around product supplies.
What made you decide to do business with Bravo?
We were originally aware of John Boardman by reputation, which has always been outstanding. We first met John in the US, at IHRSA, where he has consistently taken club delegations from Japan... demonstrating Bravo's unfaltering commitment to the Japanese Fitness Industry. John worked with the MOSSA group from the US, for whom we also have enormous respect, and we knew that the Bravo group was driven by those hugely important values of loyalty, honesty and respect. When we developed the ViPR product there was only one group that we wanted to distribute the product in Japan - Bravo Group.
How has it been to do business with Bravo?
If it could be wrapped into one word, it would be integrity. It is a pleasure to do business with John and his team at Bravo as they are meticulous, professional and incredibly respectful. The Japanese market has high expectations but also delivers accordingly and we feel honoured to be working with such a professional team. The ViPR MT team are amongst the strongest skill set in the world, they take their education seriously but have never lost sight of keeping it fun and real.
